As globalisation deepens, the movement of people increases and high urban property prices make living in rented accommodation a new norm. But as the American Dream spreads around the world, home ownership has become one of the symbols of success. People spend decades of time and experience to save up for a deposit. And tying their future to the location to pay off their mortgage, trying to fit society's definition of a successful person.
Unfortunately, the housing crisis due to the lack of land supply has made this goal increasingly difficult to achieve. People need to spend increasingly long periods of time renting before they can buy a house. In the process, questions are gradually being raised as to why we should put up with low quality rental living for over a decade just for the sake of a home ownership?
In this context, BTR, which focuses on services, was born. And UKAA is the biggest organization that focus on BTR in the UK with the success experience that their brother NAA (National Apartment Association) has done in the US. But compared to BTR's market share in the US, the UK is still in the early stages of the market and the brands are each independently exploring their home markets in various ways.
This is not very conducive to the long-term development of the BTR concept that our client wants. A brand often does more than just BTR, often operating in a mix of rents and sales to ensure short-term profitability and cash flow. People may be familiar with specific brands and platforms, but have no idea what a BTR is, even if they live in a BTR project.
Our Design
To address those problem
We create a BTR renting platform - Guarentee to enhance the convenience, flexibility and sense of belonging for tenants by provide unique room adjusting service and Smart matching system. All companies in the BTR sector, including landlords and service providers, have been brought together to create a BTR platform that will facilitate the long-term development of BTR while ensuring the quality of BTR services.
